Hello my dear followers, here is a new post.😎
Our assignment this week was to create a KWL chart. This was a collaborative assignment. The assignment involves researching a topic in a digital environment as well as creating content with the group. We used Padlet for this assignment. I did it with my two close friends , Zeynep Ceyda Bozkurt and Nehir Güler Durur , from my class. You can go to their account by clicking on their names. We shared our own ideas and researched what we were curious about, so we contributed equally to the assignment. The fact that we all contributed to the assignment made it dynamic.
We started by creating a wall on Padlet. We chose the topic "Cyberbullying at School". Later, we created a KWL chart and filled it in the chart together. Using Padlet allowed us to fill in our chart in different cities at the same time. It was also easy to use the application thanks to the easy interface of Padlet. Because the assignment was both online and collaborative, it was much easier to complete.
Thanks to this assignment, we as pre-service teachers developed our digital literacy and improved our teamwork skills.
As everyone knows, the 21st-century is the century of technology. Both as pre-service teachers and as learners, there are skills that we need to develop to keep up with this century, and I think digital literacy is one of them. In fact, digital literacy facilitates the acquisition and development of other skills such as critical thinking and creativity. Collaborative projects have been used from the past to the present to help acquire these skills. Therefore, such collaborative projects play a very important role in 21st-century education.
Have you done a collaborative project before?
Have you used the Padlet application before?
See you in the next post 👋
Stay free from bullying❗💪
